It
is Wonderful Truth
---by Osifu
Buddhist
follower asks how to open and inspire.
The
Great Way is essentially simple and easy to the utmost.
Buddha
Dharma has no many branches at all.
To
put down everything that occupies your attention is wonderful truth.
08:33:17 April 26th, 2010. The verse is written to
answer a follower’s question about how to open.
时一弟子因其父病重而伤心胡言乱语。
但师父要点明，明心见性如人饮水冷暖自知。
不是“知道”而是“实修亲证”。
When Osifu is
giving the instructional talk, a follower is sad and talks nonsense because his
father was seriously ill.
But Osifu
needs to point it out clearly that discovering true mind and Buddha nature is
like one drinking water, who knows by oneself whether it is cold or warm.
It is not to know
intellectually, but to cultivate in actuality, through practice (not through
thoughts) and verify personally, for oneself.
神通不敌业。
佛力不敌业。
法力不敌业。
Supernatural
powers can be defeated by one’s karmas.
Buddhas’
powers can be defeated by one’s karmas.
Theurgic capablities can be defeated by one’s karmas.
“无所求而自得”，为师经常说这一句话。
If you want to
change the karmic effect, as a saying goes, “Wherever you stumble and fall, get back up.”
“Pursue nothing and gain naturally,”
which is often said by Osifu.
放下即可！
修行就是放下的过程！
To
put everything down is ok!
The root of
sufferings is persistence.
The
cultivation is a process of putting down!
你的孝心为师赞叹，但孝心也不可偏执。真孝大孝至孝你当觉知。
真孝大孝至孝，我们当学地藏菩萨。
真孝大孝至孝，还有什么比帮助父母究竟解脱更重要呢？
Osifu praises
your filial piety, but the filial piety can’t be paranoid.
You should be
clearly aware of the true filial piety, the great filial piety and the utmost
filial piety.
For the true
filial piety, the great filial piety and the utmost filial piety, we should
learn from Buddha Sakyamuni.
For the true
filial piety, the great filial piety and the utmost filial piety, we should
learn from Ksitigarbha.
For the true
filial piety, the great filial piety and the utmost filial piety, is there
anything else more important than helping parents gain ultimate release from
the cycle of birth and death?
色身只是一个臭皮囊，不可执著。
色身只是一个无常，不可执著。
The
physical body is only a vile skin-bag and we must NOT waste our energy by
trying to cling to it.
The physical
body is impermanent and we can’t live in it forever.
The physical
body is merely an illusory existence and we can’t grasp and hold on to it.
法尚不可执著，何况给我们带来苦感乐受的色身。
不可执著！
Even laws can’t
be abided, let alone the physical body that brings us the feeling of pain and
joy.
Make use of
the false physical body to cultivate the true self!
The physical
body is the clothes, the stage property and the costume that we use to manifest
in the world.
Don’t cling to
it!
佛子呀
不可一叶障目！

Don’t have
one's view of the important overshadowed by the trivial!
佛子呀
不可忘了本来！
My Buddhist
followers,
Don’t forget
the origin!
佛子呀
不可忘了使命！
My Buddhist
followers,
Don’t forget
the mission!
佛子呀
不可忘了大愿！
My Buddhist
followers,
Don’t forget
the great vows!
是的，你属于众生。
是的，你有大愿。
是的，你要勇于面对。
是的，你不要妄念妄执。
是恢复你本来面目的时候了。
Yes, you
belong to all living beings.
Yes, you have
great vows.
Yes, you must
face up to everything.
Yes, you don’t
have deluded thought or illusionary attachment.
It’s time to
restore your true colors.
为师的父亲是癌症去世的，师父曾经很痛苦、很无助、很揪心。
耗尽积蓄，也未能挽回。
Osifu’s father
died of cancer. Osifu used to be very painful, very helpless and very gnawing. Osifu
ran out of savings but failed to save his life.
师父没有找阎罗王给父亲改生死簿，也没有找药师佛给父亲延寿。师父彻悟了因果，师父透过了生死。
Osifu didn’t
ask Yama to change father’s book of life and death, nor did Osifu ask Buddha Bhaisajyaguru
to prolong father’s life.
Osifu has apprehended
the cause and effect completely and Osifu got through the life and death.
肉身的死亡，只是灵体脱了件衣服。
肉身的死亡，只是灵体卸了个包袱。
肉身的死亡，只是灵体解脱了束缚。
The death of
the mortal body is just that the spiritual body takes off a piece of clothing.
The death of
the mortal body is just that the spiritual body unloads a burden.
The death of
the mortal body is just that the spiritual body gains release from bondage.
生并不可喜，
死并不可忧。
Life isn’t joy
while death isn’t a sad thing.
（此时佛子上线，问候师父和众师兄。）
死亡是一种解脱，但不是究竟解脱。
究竟解脱靠的是智慧。
佛法 是 慧解脱！
(At the
moment, one Buddhist follower appears on line and says hello to Osifu and all
fellow practitioners.)
The death is a
kind of liberation but not an ultimate liberation.
The ultimate
liberation relies on wisdom.
Buddhist
Dharma is a wise liberation!
你看看，师父要讲 波若波罗密，要讲大智慧到彼岸的时候，Olive就来了。
大智慧之莲。
大慈悲之莲。
You see, at
the moment Osifu expounds the wisdom and the great wisdom to the other shore,
Olive (wise lotus) is coming.
Lotus with
great wisdom.
Lotus with
great compassion.
佛子呀
你可参透何谓慈悲？
你可参透何谓大慈大悲？
弟子还有很多未能放下
Buddhist
follower,
Can you
understand and comprehend completely what the compassion is?
Can you
understand and comprehend completely what the great mercy and the great
compassion are?
My follower, there
are still many things which you can’t put down.
所以，你无法实现脱胎换骨。
所以，你无法实现天人合一。
So, you cannot
achieve thoroughly remould yourself.
So, you cannot
complete the Oneness of Heaven, Earth and Man.
佛子呀，你在执著流泪，流的是凡夫执著的泪。
拔除众苦！
自己诸苦尚不能拔除，如何帮助众生拔除诸苦。
Buddhist
follower, you are clinging to the tears, which the ordinary man abides in.
Remove all
sufferings!
If you can’t
remove your own all sufferings, how to help all living beings remove all
sufferings?
佛子呀
作为一个凡夫你没有错。
作为一个孝女你没有错。
可是，你是一个有根基有使命有大愿的慈悲之莲。
Buddhist
follower,
As an ordinary
man, what you did isn’t wrong.
As a filial
daughter, what you did isn’t wrong.
However, you
are a compassionate lotus with good groundwork, with great vows, with the
mission.
你的智慧已经被泪水模糊。
你的慈悲已经被亲情局限。
Your wisdom
has already been dimmed by tears.
Your
compassion has already been confined by family love.
Your concentration
power has already been shaken by illusory
attachment.
你的道心已经被因果蒙昧。
你的大爱已经被小爱狭隘。
你的灵心已经被妄心波扰。
Your resolve
for Way has already been benighted by cause and effect.
Your great
love has already been narrowed by small love.
Your spirit
heart has already been disturbed by false thought’s waves.
佛子呀，师父经历过和父亲的生离死别，师父能安然透过。
相信 佛子一定能很快透过。
Buddhist
follower, Osifu has experienced the parting sorrow resulting from the loss of his father and
Osifu can get it through peacefully.
Osifu believes
that this Buddhist
follower can surely get through soon.
佛子呀，对令尊一事，佛菩萨会尽心尽力加持、护法神会尽心尽力护持、师父会尽心尽力帮助！
Buddhist
follower, about your father, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas will spare no efforts
to bless him. The protective divinities will try their best to protect him.
Osifu will make all-out efforts to help him!
我们都尽心尽力好吗？
但也要懂得一切随缘。
尽人力，听天命。
Let’s do
utmost best together, ok?
But you should
also know that everything performs in accordance with conditions.
Do our level
best and leave the rest to God's will.
不管什么结果，坦然面对。
不管什么结果，安然透过。
No matter what
the result is, you should face it calmly.
No matter what
the result is, you should get it through peacefully.
路还是要往前走！
道还是要往前行！
We still have
to march forward on the road!
We still have
to move on along the way!
《真金现》

尔等修行受熬煎，
为师心痛亦安然。
浪里淘金就这般，
千锤百炼真金现。
The Real Gold will Appear
---By 〇sifu
You are cultivating and practicing
with all kinds of sufferings,
Osifu’s heart is painful but also
peaceful.
Great waves washing up sand for
the gold is just like that.
The real gold will appear after you
go through a fiery trail of refining and tempering.
如是！
佛子放下了
So it is!
Buddhist follower has put down that which occupied his
attention; has set aside distractions; has released his grasp of attachment
(desire and fear) to worldy concerns; has surrendered his grasping thought
patterns.
看来， 过去现在将来都要透过。
It seems that
we have to get through at any time no matter whether it is the past, the
present or the future.
现在，我们在开导佛子。
等我们自己面对生离死别时，能否透过？
这可不是嘴巴功夫。
At present, we
enlighten Buddhist follower. However, when we face the separation in life and death,
can we get through?
It is
NOT any lip skill.
大家时刻和你在一起。
放下不是放弃，
Everyone is
with you at any moment.
To put down is
not to give up, which is for gaining release from birth and death.
