Negative Karma is Terrible
April 10th, 2012
我们的名字会写入历史，我们的一言一行都要负责。
Our names will be written into history, and we
must be responsible for what we say and what we do.
我们的愿行会写入文明，我们的起心动念都要观照。
Our vows and performances will be written into
civilization, and we must observe every thought rises in mind.
我们不要做自己将来后悔的事。
We mustn’t do anything that will regret us in
future.
我们不要做自己将来后悔的事。
We mustn’t do anything that will make us repent
in future.
时刻观照自己的身语意，善自护念，不造恶业，勿令散失。
Observe your own body, speech and mind at any
time and protect them carefully. Don’t create negative karma and don’t let the mind
distracted and lost.
万般将不去，唯有业随身。你所造的业会牵着你升降沉沦。
Nothing follows you but karma. Your karma will
decide your ascension or downfall.
末法时期也是魔法时期，稍有不慎便造下重重恶业。
The Dharma- declining age is also evil-ways
rampant period, and a slightest mistake will lead you to commit heavy negative
karma.
末法时期也是魔法时期，稍有不慎便造下坠入魔窟。
The Dharma- declining age is also evil-ways
rampant period, and a slightest mistake will make fall into the cave of demons.
末法时期也是魔法时期，稍有不慎便坠入魔窟邪道。

rampant period, and a slightest mistake will lead you to fall into evil ways.
末法时期也是魔法时期，稍有不慎便毁了多劫功果。

rampant period, and a slightest mistake will ruin you many eons’ achievements.
末法时期也是魔法时期，稍有不慎便断送历劫修积。
The Dharma- declining age is also evil-ways
rampant period, and a slightest mistake will forfeit your cultivation that has
been accumulated for countless lifetimes.
弟子们！
Dear followers!
一定不要造恶业！
Don’t create any negative karma!
弟子们！
Dear followers!
一定要：勤修戒定慧，熄灭贪嗔痴！
You must: Diligently practice the percepts,
concentration and wisdom and extinguish the greed, hatred and ignorance!
善护口业，不讥他过。
Protect and cares well the mouth karma and don’t
sneer at others’ faults.
善护身业，不失律仪。
Protect and cares well the body karma and well behave
yourself.
善护意业，清净无染。
Protect and cares well the mind karma and make
your mind purified and free from attachments.
你们若造了深重恶业，佛菩萨都无法救度于你。
If you had done heavy sinful karma,
Buddhas wouldn’t be able to rescue you.
末法时期太可怕了！
The Dharma- declining age is very terrible!
魔法时期太可怕！
The evil-ways rampant age is very horrible!
五浊恶世太可怕了！
The Five-Skandhas evil world is very dreadful!
刚强众生太可怕了！
The Stubborn sentient beings are very
formidable!
说可怕，并不是师父怕。而是这种情况下救度亿灵众生太难太难。
Speaking of terribleness, it doesn’t mean that Osifu
is afraid of those things, but that saving all sentient beings are
too difficult under such circumstances.
秽土五浊灵难度，
五欲六尘颠倒苦。
血泪业海重重缚，
心灯盏盏照夜幕。
就以此偈《照夜幕》，作为今日开示的结语吧。
It is very difficult to guide and instruct living beings in this
turbid and filthy world.
The five desires and the six external objects create
upside-down bitterness.
The sentient beings have been tied up tightly in
the karmic sea of tears and blood.
Lots of heart lamps light up the night bright.
Let’s conclude today’s instructions by the verse
Light up the Night Bright.
