明天是 释迦牟尼佛 圣诞日。
Tomorrow is the memorial
birthday of Buddha Shakyamuni.
时间过得真快呀！
How time flies!
前年 释迦牟尼佛圣诞日，搞得惊天动地。
On the memorial birthday of
Buddha Shakyamuni the year before last year, something made earth shaking.
修行不是一日之功。
修炼不是一日之功。
成就不是一日之功。
成佛不是一日之功。
The practice is not achieved
in one day.
The cultivation is not
achieved in one day.
The achievement is not
attained in one day.
The Buddhahood is not
ripened in one day.
修行是多生历劫的积累。
修炼是多生历劫的积累。
成就是多生历劫的积累。
成佛是多生历劫的积累。
Practice is the accumulation
of numerous lifetimes and many kalpas.
Cultivation is the
accumulation of numerous lifetimes and many kalpas.
Achievement is the
accumulation of numerous lifetimes and many kalpas.
Buddhahood is the
accumulation of numerous lifetimes and many kalpas.
〇sifu常说：水到渠成，瓜熟自落。
〇sifu常说：功到自然成。
〇sifu常说：无所求而自得。
〇sifu常说：顺其自然，继续精进。
〇sifu常说：不著相、不动心，继续精进。
〇sifu常说：道法自然，顺其自然就好。
〇sifu常说：断恶、修善、净心、念佛。
〇sifu often says: At the right time everything comes easy；and when conditions are ripe, success will come.
〇sifu often says: Constant effort yields sure
success.
〇sifu often says: Pursue nothing and gain
naturally.
〇sifu often says: Let nature take its course and
go on cultivating diligently.
〇sifu often says: Don't cling to any form! Keep
the mind unshakable! Go on cultivating diligently.
〇sifu often says: The Way follows nature, so it's
fine to let nature take its course.
〇sifu often says: Cut off all evils, cultivate all goodness, purify the mind and chant the Buddha's name.
说得多了，大家或者会觉得，师父就会说这几句话。
As talking more, maybe you
think Osifu can say only these words.
有的“聪明”的弟子，都会抢答了。一个问题一出来，有的弟子就说“师父不说我也知道师父怎么回答。”
Some clever followers even
manage to race to be the first to answer. As soon as one question comes out,
some follower will answer: "Although Osifu doesn't reply to it, I know how
Osifu will reply."
这些简单而又朴实的修法，是师父今生今世十几年修行积累总结的宝贵财富心血，无私无偿的赠与你们，你们可知珍惜？
These simple and plain
methods presented to you selflessly for free are precious wealth and results that
Osifu has accumulated ，
cultivated and concluded for over ten years in this lifetime. Do you know
cherishing them?
这些简单而又朴实的修法，是〇sifu多生历劫修行修炼积累总结的宝贵财富心血，无私无偿的赠与你们，你们可知珍惜？
These simple and plain
cultivation methods are precious wealth and painstaking fruit of Osifu’s
accumulated summary of numerous lifetimes and many kalpas. When Osifu
selflessly presents them to you without any obligation, would you know
cherishing them?
呵呵
有时师父也觉得自己很有意思，图个什么呢？
Well, sometimes, Osifu also
feels himself interesting. What is his purpose?
师父开示的时候，你们也没闲着。
When Osifu is giving
teachings to you, you are not idle as well.
不知是在净心悟，还是忙于打招呼问候？
Are you comprehending those
dharmas with pure mind or busy with saying hello to each other?
师父不禁想起 昔日 释迦牟尼佛传法时的情形。
Osifu can't help reminding
of the situation of Buddha Shakyamuni expounding dharma in the past.
释迦牟尼佛那麽多弟子，每次法会少则数千人，要是释迦牟尼佛讲法时，弟子们相互都忙于打招呼，你说人声鼎沸该多热闹呀！
Buddha Shakyamuni had so
many followers and there were at least thousands of people on each assembly. If
followers were busy with saying hello to each other when Buddha Shakyamuni was
expounding the dharma, how noisy and busy it would be!
你们没有错，错在师父。
You have no mistake. The
mistake lies in Osifu.
师父教导不严。
Osifu didn't teach you
strictly.
入宝山 空手还。
Return from a treasure
mountain empty handed.
呵呵
师父没有开示的时候，你们交流打招呼都很好。
Well, when Osifu isn't
giving teachings, it'll be ok for you to communicate with and greet each other.

赞叹QXMH近期每日，一天一图一偈。辛苦了，功德无量！
Praise QXMH for your one
painting and one verse of one heaven each day recently. You've done a hard
work, which has boundless merits and virtues!
一弟子说，感觉象三界总动员
正是如此。
One follower says that it
seems like Three Realms' general mobilization. It does.
一弟子说，平时再不爱露面的人都出来了
正是如此。
One follower says that all
the people who usually enjoy hiding behind turn out. So they do.
一弟子说，好多灵等了亿劫才等到
正是如此。
One follower says that so
many beings have waited for millions of eons. They have had.
MH 欲界六天 一层天一图一偈，已经完成，也算圆满一个功德。
色界、无色界还未完成，继续精进呀。
MH, you have completed those
arts of Desire Realm with six heavens--one heaven, one painting and one verse,
which is also a perfect merit and virtue. But the arts of Form Realm and
Formless Realm haven't been done. Go on cultivate diligently!
色界最多
Form Realm has the most
heavens.
欲界六天
无色界 四天
色界 十八天。
三界二十八天。
这是佛门的说法。
Desire Realm has six
heavens.
Formless Realm has four
heavens.
Form Realm has eighteen
heavens.
There are twenty-eight
heavens in Three Realms.
That is the version of
Buddhism.
道门也有 九天 三十六天的说法。
Taoism also has the version
about nine heavens or thirty-six heavens.
计数的角度和方式不一样。
The angle and way of
computation are different.
道门 民俗 通常就说 九天 是最高天。
In Taoism, generally
speaking, Heaven-Nine is the highest heaven.
九 从数字密码的角度来说 是最大。
From the angle of numbers
and codes, nine means the biggest.
九天 表示最高最大的意思。并不一定就表示第九层天。
So Heaven-Nine means the
highest and the largest while doesn't necessarily mean the ninth heaven.
四天王天是第一层天。
Heaven of the Four Kings is
the first heaven.
忉利天是第二层天，这个第二层天很特殊。
Trayastrimsha, the second
heaven, is very special.
它包含三十三个区域，东南西北各八个区域、中间一个区域，这一层天也叫三十三天。
It includes thirty-three
areas, eight of which separately lay the east, the south, the west and the
north and one of which lay the middle, so this heaven is also called Heaven of
the Thirty-Three(gods).
忉利天中间一个区域为 帝释所居。
In the middle area of Heaven
of the Thirty-Three(gods), Sakka
(heavenly host of Trayastrimsha, who is also called Jade Emperor) lives there.
帝释统领由忉利天、四天王天下至地狱。
He takes charge of Heaven of
the Thirty-Three(gods), Heaven of the Four Kings and down to Hell.
帝释所居之处，就是中国人常说的九天。
The place where Sakka lives
is just the Heaven-Nine which is often called by Chinese.
忉利天以上，通常和下界、人间没有直接关系。更不会直接参与管理。他们以修炼为主。
Those heavens above the
Heaven of the Thirty-Three(gods) usually have no direct relationship with the
realms below or human realm, much less participate in management directly. They
put cultivation first.
在人类眼里，帝释 就是 老大了。
In human eyes, Sakka is just
the biggest one.
中国人，自古就是“官本位”，认为管他的，有权力的就是老大。
From ancient times, the
Chinese have possessed official standard thought, which is that they
regard the one who can take charge of him or with power is just the biggest
one.
中国人，通常认为玉皇大帝是最高的神、最大的老大。
The Chinese usually regard
Jade Emperor as the most powerful god and the biggest one.
道门三清之一的太上老君，也被安排成玉皇大帝的手下，做了天庭的宰相之一。
The Supreme Lord, one of the
triple purity in Taoism, also arranged to be the follower of Jade Emperor,
became one of prime ministers on the heaven.
天庭虽说等级森严，但也不像人间朝廷那样。
Although the heaven is rigidly
stratified, it is not the same as the court in human realm.
人类 往往按照自己的想法角度造神。
Human often create gods
according to their own ideas or from their points of view.
过去，皇帝可以下旨封神。李唐王朝坐天下，就把太上老君封成最高的神。太上老君又住在玉皇大帝的头顶，兜率天兜率宫了。
In the past, the emperor could
decree to apotheosize gods. When Lee's Tang Dynasty took charge of the country,
Supreme Lord was apotheosized to be the highest god. Then, Supreme Lord lived
in Tushita Palace of Tushita Heaven, over the top of Jade Emperor.
师父讲神话，你们不可执著。
Osifu is talking about myths
which you can't cling to.
神是人造的。
Gods are created by human.
因为传说老子是太上老君转世呀，老子姓李。你看看，皇帝也要找个好祖宗。这样才是名正言顺的天子嘛。
Because it is said that
Laotse, whose family name is Lee, is the reincarnation of Supreme Lord. Look,
the emperor had to find one good ancestor. That is the emperor who is perfectly
justified!
（时一有缘人问师父，天下天上都在做什么？）
（At the moment a guest asked Osifu, What are those
celestial beings and beings under the heaven doing?）
佛子，天上做什么，你不要操心。
佛子，天下做什么，你不要操心。
佛子，关键是观照自心。
Dear Buddhist follower, you
needn't to worry about what the beings on the heaven are doing.
Dear Buddhist follower, you
needn't to worry about what the beings under the heaven are doing.
Dear Buddhist follower, the
most important thing is to observe your own mind.
天人 比我们做的好。
Heavenly beings do better
than us.
我们千百万年来，从未净下心来和天人平等沟通。通常抱着利用他们的心理求神求仙。很好笑的！
For millions of years, we
have never purified our minds to communicate with celestial beings equally. We
usually foster the mental hope of using them to seek benefits from gods and
immortals. It is so funny!
我们千百万年来，从未净下心来和灵界平等沟通。通常抱着利用他们的心理求名求利。很好笑的！
For millions of years, we
have never purified our minds to communicate with spirit world equally. We
usually foster the mental hope of using them to seek fames and benefits. It is
so funny!
我们千百万年来，从未净下心来和佛菩萨平等沟通。通常抱着利用他们的心理求东求西。很好笑的！
For millions of years, we
have never purified our minds to communicate with Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
equally. We usually foster the mental hope of using them to seek this stuff and
that item. It is so funny!
我们千百万年来，从未净下心来和外星人平等沟通。通常抱着利用他们的心理求术求技。很好笑的！
For millions of years, we
have never purified our minds to communicate with extraterrestrial beings
equally. We usually foster the mental hope of using them to seek skills and
technology. It is so funny!
我们千百万年来，从未净下心来和地球人平等沟通。通常抱着利用他们的心理求物求欲。很好笑的！
For millions of years, we
have never purified our minds to communicate with earthmen equally. We usually
foster the mental hope of using them to seek material and desire for something.
It is so funny!
我们千百万年来，从未净下心来和自心平等沟通。通常抱着利用他（她）的心理求威求福。很好笑的！
For millions of years, we
have never purified our minds to communicate with our own minds equally. We
usually foster the mental hope of using him or her to seek prestige and
well-being. It is so funny!
都太忙了，连和自心沟通的时间都没有。
All too busy, even no time
to talk with their own minds.
你们的心在哭泣，你们却听不到。你爱的女人或男人一点点的不悦你都会睡不着觉。
Your hearts are crying but
you can't hear. You can't fall asleep because of any bit of unpleasantness of your
beloved woman or man.
你们的心在哭泣，你们却听不到。你的股票一点点的波动你都会睡不着觉。
Your hearts are crying but
you can't hear. You can't fall asleep because of any bit of fluctuation of your
stock.
你们的心在哭泣，你们却听不到。你的名利一点点的影响你都会睡不着觉。
Your hearts are crying but
you can't hear. You can't fall asleep because of any bit of influence of your
fame and gain.
你们的心在哭泣，你们却听不到。你的孩子一点点的不顺你都会睡不着觉。
Your hearts are crying but
you can't hear. You can't fall asleep because of any bit of incompliance of
your child.
你们的心在哭泣，你们却听不到。你的赌局一点点的输赢你都会睡不着觉。
Your hearts are crying but
you can't hear. You can't fall asleep because of any bit of win or lose of your
gambling party.
你们的心在哭泣，你们却听不到。你的梦里一点点的得失你都会睡不着觉。
Your hearts are crying but
you can't hear. You can't fall asleep because of any bit of gain or loss in
your dream.
五欲六尘、名闻利养、酒色财气，还有很多很多，都会让你睡不着觉。
Five desires (wealth, sex,
food, fame and sleep), six objects (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch and
thought), wine, women, avarice, pride and so on, all of which will make you
hard to fall asleep.
自己的心、自己的灵、自己的真，如此的可怜。如此的被遗弃在阴暗的角落。
Your own mind, own spirit
and own true-self are so poor that they are abandoned in the dark corner.
他走了，你就死了。
When it leaves, you will
die.
他受业力所牵，无法自在解脱。
It is pulled by karma's
force and is unable to get free and liberation.
“老师讲今生欠他才嫁他啊。”这句话，是有问题的。
My
teacher told me that I married him because of owing him this lifetime. This
word is questionable.
一切问题的根源在于无明。
The root of all questions is
ignorance.
你看看《观世音菩萨传奇》中，妙善的养父母家的哥哥对妙善很好。青梅竹马，两小无猜，按照世俗之见，妙善应当嫁他。
You should read The
Legend of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Miaoshan's elder brother, her foster
parent's son, was nice to her. Both of whom were innocent childhood friends and
playmates, according to common view, Miaoshan should marry him.
妙善 选择了一条什么道路？
But which way did Miaoshan
choose?
梵行成佛道。
The way of attaining the
Buddhahood with pure practices.
有时，师父不想把话点破。
Sometimes, Osifu doesn't
want to point it out bluntly.
人总有一个毛病，任何问题出现，总要给自己找个理由。
People always have a habit
that whatever problem comes out, he or she often looks for a reason for himself
or herself.
因缘果报，拿来做理由，也有点儿“以子之矛攻子之盾”的意思。不知是智慧，还是愚痴？
Taking causes, conditions
and effects as the reason is somewhat like that turn one's battery against
himself.
Is that the wisdom or
ignorance?
有人说了，我嫁给他是因为因果。
有人说了，我给他生孩子是因为因果。
有人说了，我给他杀生煮肉是因为因果。
有人说了，我给他行淫享乐是因为因果。
Someone says: I marry him
because of causes and effects.
Someone says: I give birth
to the baby for him because of causes and effects.
Someone says: I kill animals
and cook meat for him because of causes and effects.
Someone says: I'm used to
satisfy his lust and enjoyment because of causes and effects.
佛子呀，你就这样悟解因果吗？
佛子呀，你就这样了结因果吗？
佛子呀，你就这样偿还因果吗？
佛子呀，你就这样沉沦因果吗？
Dear Buddhist follower, do
you comprehend causes and effects in such way?
Dear Buddhist follower, do
you put causes and effects to the end in such way?
Dear Buddhist follower, do
you repay causes and effects in such way?
Dear Buddhist follower, do
you indulge in causes and effects in such way?

Well
One wrong step results every
wrong step. Then it's hard to retire from those matters!

Dear Buddhist follower, go on cultivating diligently

Keep the mind clinging to nothing and never desire

living beings will you get free from the cycle of life and death.

Ultimate Happiness Homeland
----By Osifu
To repay karmic love-debts and obstacles by the
body,
It's still a chaotic account though you repay it
again and again.
Buddha Shakyamuni loved his wife and son with real
sincerity.
The pure land with all relatives of dharma is the
ultimate happiness homeland.

May 20th,2010. It's presented to all followers and predestined
friends who are indulged in repaying debts and love as well as finishing karmas
of debts and love.
这是两个偈，师父每一个偈只压一个韵，且句句押韵。
换韵了，也就是另一个偈子了。
These are two verses, each
of which has each rhyme, and the last word of each sentence is rhymed as well.
If the rhyme changes, it
will be another verse.
明天 释迦牟尼佛圣诞日，为师将于 圆满阁举行 拜师赐法号法会。
11:00开始。
Tomorrow is the memorial
birthday of Buddha Shakyamuni.
Osifu will hold the assembly
of acknowledging Osifu as the master in Mind Purification Vihara Satisfactory Loft. It will begin at 11:00 am.

Karmic obstacles have been
empty originally!
看到很多佛子被业障压得抬不起头来，师父很心痛。
Seeing so many Buddhist
followers oppressed to be unable to hold up their heads by karmic obstacles,
Osifu is painful.
看到很多佛子把自己当成罪大恶极的人，师父很心痛。
Seeing so many Buddhist
followers regarding themselves as those who are guilty of the most heinous crimes, Osifu is painful.
看到很多佛子很阴暗很消沉，师父很心痛。
Seeing so many Buddhist
followers being gloomy and negative, Osifu is painful.
佛子，应该是阳光的！
佛子，应该是活泼的！
佛子，应该是生动的！
佛子，应该是积极的！
佛子，应该是向上的！
佛子，应该是轻安的！
佛子，应该是自在的！
Buddhist followers should be
sunny!
Buddhist followers should be
lively!
Buddhist followers should be
active!
Buddhist followers should be
positive!
Buddhist followers should be
optimistic!
Buddhist followers should be
free and easy!
Buddhist followers should be
at ease!
业障，在三界之内，就像一张网---业力网。
In Three Realms, Karmic
obstacles are just like a net--Karmic force net.
要突破这层网不难。就像你从梦境中醒来一样容易。
It's not difficult to break
through this net, which is as easy as you awakening from the dream.
你从梦境中如何醒来的呢？
How to awaken from the
dream?

戏中戏
Dream-in-dream.
Play-in-play.
《业力网》

万灵困于业力网，随业流浪苦海茫。
六道轮回难归乡，唯因认贼作亲娘。
放下万缘向上望，多少故旧盼儿郎。
舍下五欲回心想，来龙去脉梦一场。
千古暗室不见光，一智生起心灯亮。
六度透过生死浪，般若化却业力网。

Karmic
Force Net

Millions of beings are trapped in karmic
force net and drifting with the tide on the vast suffering sea.
It's difficult for you who get rebirth in the cycle
of life and death to return to the homeland, only because you regard the thief
as your dear mom.
To put all conditions down and look upward, there
are so many dear old relatives expecting sons' return.
To set the five desires aside and self-examine the
mind, it is just a dream with causes and effects.
There has been no light in the dark room for
thousands of years, but the heart-light brightens up as soon as the wisdom
arises.
Six Perfections can go through waves of life and
death, and wisdom can make the karmic force net come to
naught.
