现在人开口闭口都敢谈禅，好像禅都掌握在自己手中
自己没有实证的，最好不要随便讲。否则误己误人。
所以，能不说就不说。
说该说的，做该做的。
Nowadays,
people dare talk about Zen baldheaded as if they had mastered Zen.
You’d
better not make casual speech if you haven’t verified it personally, otherwise,
it could mislead yourself and others as well .Therefore, don't talk more than
you can help.
Say
what is supposed to be said. Do what is supposed to be done.
利己利人的事可做。
度己度人的事可做。
自觉觉他的事可做。
说话亦复如是。
Do
things that benefit both yourself and others.
Do
things that transform both yourself and others.
Do
things that enlighten both yourself and others
So
does the speech.
何谓基础知识？
What
is the basic knowledge?
Someone
says that the cause and effect is basic knowledge, but how many people can know
the cause and effect clearly?
呵呵
每次忆念释迦牟尼佛，〇sifu就想笑。
想起妙善公主，也想笑。
想起金乔觉，也想笑。
想起慧能，也想笑。
想起李修缘，也想笑。
想起虚云，也想笑。
想起过去现在将来这么多出家人，也想笑。
〇sifu想笑，就是开心嘛！
Well,
every time when recalling and missing Buddha Sakyamuni, Osifu wants to laugh.
When
thinking of Princess Miao Shan, Osifu wants to laugh, too.
When
thinking of Kim Qiaoque, Osifu wants to laugh, too.
When
thinking of Hui Neng, Osifu wants to laugh, too.
When
thinking of Li Xiuyuan, Osifu wants to laugh, too.
When
thinking of Xu Yun, Osifu wants to laugh, too.
When
thinking of so many left-home people of the past, the present and the future,
Osifu wants to laugh, too.
Osifu
wants to laugh, because he feels happy!
俗话说：人比人气死人。
为什么他们能做到？
为什么我们不能做到？
As
the saying goes, comparisons are odious.
Why could
they manage to do that?
Why
cannot we manage to do that?
〇sifu自比释迦，羞愧万分。
〇sifu自比妙善，羞愧难当。
〇sifu自比金乔觉，无地自容。
〇sifu自比虚云，百不及一。
Comparing
with Sakyamuni, Osifu feels very ashamed.
Comparing
with Miao Shan, Osifu’s embarrassment is beyond words.
Comparing
with Kim Qiaoque, Osifu has no place to hide himself.
Comparing
with Dao Ji, Osifu feels extremely ashamed.
Comparing
with Xu Yun, Osifu is not worth one-hundredth.
他们也是人，〇sifu也是人。
我们同样都是地球人，差距咋就这么大呢？
他们做得到，我们为何做不到？不仅做不到，还在那里找理由、找借口。
呵呵
They
are also humans, so is Osifu.
We
are all earthly humans, and why is the gap so large?
They
can make it, and why cannot we make it? We not only could not manage to do it
but make reasons and excuses instead.

时有人说可以吃肉，有“三净肉”可以吃。
(At
the moment, someone says that meat can be eaten, and others say that the three kinds
of pure meat can be eaten.)

佛说过超市里卖的肉是“三净肉”吗？
你们看看佛所说何为“三净肉”“五净肉”？
Did
Buddha discourse that the meat sold in supermarkets was the three kinds of pure
meat?
You
could see what the three kinds and five kinds of pure meat discoursed by Buddha
is.
超市所卖之肉为谁而杀？
给吃众生肉找个理由和借口，不是我们应该做的。
戒杀、素食、护生、放生，我们应当身体力行。
Whom
is the meat sold in supermarkets killed for?
Making
a reason or an excuse for eating meat of living being is not what we should do.
Stop
killing, be a vegetarian, protect the creatures and free captive animals, which
should be carried out by our actual efforts.
