〇sifu Answers Disciples' Questions
February 8th,
2010
师父：太极 是 阴阳未分时宇宙的状态。
无极之前 还有。
〇sifu: Tai Chi is the cosmic state when Yin
and Yang weren’t separated，while, Woo Chi is the cosmic state before Tai Chi. However, there is still something before
Woo Chi .
有弟子：师父无极之前是什么呀？
Some disciple: 〇sifu, what is that before
Woo Chi ?
师父：就知道有人好奇，师父才说“无极之前还有。”
呵呵
果然就有人问。
〇sifu: I knew there would be someone curious about that and
that is why 〇sifu saying there
is still something before
Woo Chi .
Well, sure enough, someone asked.
师父讲心地法门，不二法门。不谈二元三元。
〇sifu expounds the mind-ground dharma door, which is non-duality dharma door, but not duality or trialism.

老君葫芦密。
师父点破你，
阴阳本一体。
The Buddhist disciple
asks about Tai Chi，which is somewhat like the secret hidden
in the gourd of Lao Tze. But〇sifu points it
out bluntly for you that
the Yin and Yang are essentially one.
师父：历事炼心，不受磨不成佛呀。
师父看到很多领有使命之人受到很大磨难。
甚至可以说，使命越大磨难越大；使命越大考验越大。
〇sifu: To cultivate one’s mind by going through experiences and different matters as one won’t become
a Buddha without going through hardships and difficulties.
〇sifu has seen many disciples who undertook missions have suffered from great many difficulties.
Even we can say that the more important mission comes
with more hardships; and the more important mission comes with more tests.
“天将降大任于斯人也......”这段论述，有一定道理呀。
The argument
says that when Heaven is about
to place a great responsibility onto a great man......which is
somewhat reasonable.
农历十二月二十九日，恭逢华严菩萨圣诞。
On Dec. 29th the lunar
calendar, let’s welcome to the memorial
birthday of Hua Yan Bodhisattva
respectively.
华严菩萨之名，载于《千手千眼观世音菩萨广大圆满无碍大悲心陀罗尼经》中，华严菩萨与观世音菩萨、大势至菩萨等诸大菩萨于此会上闻法。

Bodhisattva was written in Thousand-Hands
and Thousand-Eyes Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva's Vast, Perfect, Unimpeded, and Great-Compassionate
Heart Dharani Sutra that Hua Yan
Bodhisattva, Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Mahastamaprapta and other Bodhisattvas
were listening to dharma in the assembly.有弟子问师父，是不是越修的高，魔也就跟着来扰乱我们修行啊？
Some disciples asked 〇sifu that if the demon would come to disturb our cultivation when one's spiritual level is getting higher.
师父：真修行人会受到魔扰，越到高层次，越要加强持《楞严咒》。
〇sifu: A real
practitioner will be disturbed by demons. With the ascension to a higher
spiritual level, the recitation of Shurangama Mantras should be strengthened.
时时观照，不取相、不动心。自然一切无碍。
Always observe the mind and neither cling to any forms nor have the mind tempted. Naturally,
everything will be all
right.
若 著相 动心，就给了魔 可趁之机。
If you cling to forms or have your mind tempted, which will give the demons chances.
师父：俗语说的，话粗理不粗“苍蝇不叮无缝的蛋”，呵呵！
〇sifu: As the saying goes, words may be rude but the theory is not and flies never bite seamless eggs.
若迷问题千千万，
若悟何处有谜团。
佛考魔考皆一般，
如如不动皆虚幻。
佛考魔考皆一般，
不用分清。
When you are in delusion, there would be thousands upon thousands of problems.
When you are in enlightenment, where is the mystery?
The tests both by the Buddhas or demons are all the same.
Keep your mind steady and motionless when everything is illusory.
The tests both by the Buddhas of demons are all the same, which is unnecessary to distinguish between them.
