Requirements for the Pilgrimage

师父说过，如果去印度释迦牟尼佛圣地朝圣礼佛，去前什么样回来后还是什么样，那就不必去了，名额很珍贵。
Osifu reminds
that the quota for the pilgrimage to Shakyamuni Buddha Holy Lands in India is so
precious. It is no necessary to go for pilgrimage for those who return from the
journey but still the same person as before.
什么意思呢？
What does that
mean?
如果去印度释迦牟尼佛圣地朝圣礼佛，去前每天忙于家务回来后还是每天忙于家务，那就不必去了，名额很珍贵，把名额让给有愿心的人。
It is no
necessary for those people to make the pilgrimage, those who would still be
busy with housework every day as before the journey. The quota is so precious
and it should be reserved for those who have resolve for Bodhi.
如果去印度释迦牟尼佛圣地朝圣礼佛，去前每天忙于挣钱回来后还是每天忙于挣钱，那就不必去了，名额很珍贵，把名额让给有愿心的人。

There are many
esoteric meanings for the pilgrimage to Shakyamuni Buddha Holy Lands in India,
and Osifu disclosed that.
但如果去印度释迦牟尼佛圣地朝圣礼佛，回来后你没有任何净化，那真的很没必要前去。
It is really no
necessary for you to go if you don’t have any purification after the journey.

pilgrimage, you should forsake nurturing evil deeds and practice good deeds more
actively and more industriously.

After the pilgrimage,
you should purify your mind and recite Buddha more actively and more
industriously.

白去了，还不如不去。

师父回答一个字：心
Osifu would
reply in one word: mind.
什么心呢？
What kind of
mind?
对方不再去问，师父也没有必要继续深入开示。
He did not ask,
so it is unnecessary to continue and deepen the discourse.
什么心呢？菩提心！
What kind of
mind? Bodhimind!
什么心呢？菩萨心！
What kind of
mind? Bodhisattva resolve!
什么心呢？如来心！
What kind of
mind? Tathagata resolve!
什么心呢？大乘心！
What kind of
mind? Mahayana mind!
什么心呢？清净心！
What kind of
mind? Pure mind!
什么心呢？无我心！
What kind of
mind? Egoless mind!
什么心呢？无欲心！
What kind of
mind? Desire-free mind!
什么心呢？无为心！
What kind of
mind? Unconditioned mind!
什么心呢？无诤心！
What kind of
mind? Aranya mind!
什么心呢？平等心！
What kind of
mind? Equal mind!
什么心呢？正觉心！
What kind of
mind? Proper enlightened mind!

如果每一天我们都是老样子，那真的很悲哀。
It would be so
sad if we still remain the same as usual every day.
如果每一天我们都是老习气，那真的很悲哀。
It would be so
sad if we still have the old bad habits every day.
如果每一天我们都是老毛病，那真的很悲哀。
It would be so
sad if we still have the old faults every day.
如果每一天我们都是老缺点，那真的很悲哀。
It would be so
sad if we still have the old weaknesses every day.
如果每一天我们都是老错误，那真的很悲哀。
It would be so
sad if we still have the old mistakes every day.
如果每一天我们都是老问题，那真的很悲哀。
It would be so
sad if we still have the old problems every day.
修心修行修炼是一个不断修正的过程。
Mind discipline,
cultivation and practice are a process of constant amendment.
修心修行修炼是一个勤除习气的过程。
Mind discipline,
cultivation and practice are a process of eradicating bad habits diligently.
