“破茧成蝶”真的很不容易！
“To break one’s own cocoon out
of a butterfly”is really not easy!
“破壳而出”真的很不容易！
“To break off one’s own egg
shell” is really not easy!
“脱胎换骨”真的很不容易！
“To remold oneself” is
really not easy!
师父常说一句话：要么破茧成蝶，要么憋死在茧里。
Osifu often says: Either break
your own cocoon to become a butterfly, or suffocated in the cocoon.
师父常说一句话：要么破壳而出，要么憋死在壳里。
Osifu often says: Either break
off your own egg shell, or suffocated in the shell.
师父常说一句话：要么脱胎换骨，要么憋死在胎里。
Osifu often says: Either
remold yourself, or suffocated in the embryo.
这个茧是我们自己作茧自缚，自己做的茧要靠自己咬破突破，突破了你就自由自在了。
The cocoon is made by
ourselves, and we have to break through it by our own efforts. You will be free
once you made it.
这个壳是我们自己五蕴遮蔽，自己五蕴遮蔽要靠自己通透突破，突破了你就自由自在了。
The shell is our own Five Skandhas
that covers ourselves, and we have to break through it by our own efforts. You
will be free once you made it.
这个胎是我们自己妄执分别，自己妄执分别要靠自己放下突破，突破了你就自由自在了。
The embryo is caused by our
own delusions and discriminations, and we have to break through it by our own
efforts. You will be free once you made it.
师父看到了弟子们在突破重重障碍、重重系缚、重重控制的过程中很辛苦，师父很心疼。但这是必须得！
Osifu feels painful seeing
the difficulties that the disciples have gone through during the process of
breaking through their heavy obstacles, heavy attachments and heavy controls. But
this is necessary!
自己的缚必须自己解脱！
You must release yourself
from the attachments made yourself!
自己的茧必须自己咬破！
You must break out of the
cocoon made yourself!
自己的壳必须自己冲破！
You must break off the shell
made yourself!
自己的胎必须自己脱落！
You must remove the embryo
made yourself!
因为“谁缚谁解脱？”，实乃自己束缚自己，所以必须自己解脱自己。
“Who had him tied? And who can
free himself?”It is actually the one who tied himself so he has to have himself
freed.
一切束缚皆是自己的妄想分别执著而生。
All the attachments are
brought about by one’s own delusions, discriminations and persistence.
若无妄想分别执著，本无束缚。
If without delusions, discriminations
and persistence, nobody will have himself tied.
你执著“名”，就被“名”所缚，“名关”出现了，你执著越深“关”越难突破。
If you cling to “reputation”,
you will have yourself tied by “reputation” and the “the barrier of reputation”will appear, and the deeper you are attached to
it, it will be more difficult for you to break through the “barrier”.
你执著“利”，就被“利”所缚，“利关”出现了，你执著越深“关”越难突破。
If you cling to “profits”,
you will have yourself tied by “profits” and the “the barrier of profits”will appear, and the deeper you are attached to
it, it will be more difficult for you to break through the “barrier”.
你执著“情”，就被“情”所缚，“情关”出现了，你执著越深“关”越难突破。
If you cling to “passion”,
you will have yourself tied by “passion” and the “the barrier of passion”will appear, and the deeper you are attached to
it, it will be more difficult for you to break through the “barrier”.
你执著“钱财”，就被“钱财”所缚，“钱财关”出现了，你执著越深“关”越难突破。
If you cling to “money”,
you will have yourself tied by “money” and the “the barrier of money”will appear, and the deeper you are attached to
it, it will be more difficult for you to break through the “barrier”.
你执著“什么”，就被“什么”所缚，“什么关”就会出现，你执著越深“关”越难突破。
“Whatever” you cling to it,
you will have yourself tied by it, and the “the barrier of whatever”will appear, and the deeper you are attached to
it, it will be more difficult for you to break through the “barrier”.
所谓束缚实则是你的执著，你越执著束缚越大，你执著越多束缚越多。
The so called bondage is
actually your attachment, and the more you cling to it, the bigger your bondage
will be; and the more your cling to it, more bondages you will get.
所谓解脱实则是你的放下，你越放下束缚越小，你放下越多束缚越少。
The so called freedom is
actually your putting down all the thoughts on your mind, and the more you put
down, the less your bondages will be.
师父常说：修心修行修炼就是一个放下的过程。放下越多成就越大、放下越快成就越快，彻底放下彻底成就。
Osifu often says: mind discipline, cultivation and practices is
a process of putting down one’s thoughts on mind, the more you put down, the
bigger your achievement will be; the faster you put it down, the faster you
will make your achievement; you put it down completely, and you will make the
ultimate achievement.
师父常说：放下不放弃，引领万灵归。
Osifu often says: putting
down is not abandoning, but to guide all the living beings home.
师父常说：以慈悲之心对待你的六亲眷属，而不是执著贪爱之情。
Osifu often says: treat
your six relations and relatives with compassion rather than persistence and
craving for affections.
若是彼此执著贪爱，造下恶业，最后是同坠轮回、同陷业海、同受苦楚。
If you hanged on the
affection with each other, it would cause you to create bad karma, as a result,
you will together fall into the birth and death reincarnation cycle, together
fall into the karma cycle and endure the sufferings together.
师父常说：爱他（她、它）就度他（她、它）。
Osifu often says: love him
(her, it) then instruct and guide him (her, it) to understand the true meaning
of life.
师父常说：在西方极乐世界“诸上善人 俱会一处”，才是最好
Osifu often says: in the
Western Land of Ultimate Bliss “all the good people get together,” which is the
best.
师父常说：人间短暂的情爱欲求、五欲享受、感官快乐，只会给你带来无穷无尽的轮回恶报，求出无期。
Osifu often says: the
short-time desires for love, five desires enjoyments and sensual pleasure in
human world will only bring endless cycles of transmigration and bad
retributions, and no expectance to get out of it.
师父常说：爱他（她、它）就帮他（她、它）出离轮回。
Osifu often says: love him
(her, it) then help him (her, it) get out of the birth and death reincarnation
cycle.
师父常说：爱他（她、它）就助他（她、它）究竟解脱。
Osifu often says: love him
(her, it) then help him (her, it) attain the ultimate happiness.
师父常说：真爱就是回归。
Osifu often says: the true
love is to help people return home.
师父常说：大爱就是回归。
Osifu often says: the great
love is to help people return home.
师父常说：至爱就是回归。
Osifu often says: the utmost
love is to help people return home.
师父常说：真孝就是回归。
Osifu often says: the true
filial piety is to help people return home.
师父常说：大孝就是回归。
Osifu often says: the great

Teachings by Osifu in Aug. 18 2011 evening:
因明早有事需要外出，7:00到8:00就不做开示了，提前到今晚吧！
Osifu is going out for something tomorrow morning, so the
teachings from 7:00 to 8:00 in tomorrow will be advanced to tonight!
师父今日下午略有闲暇写了一个偈子，现在奉献给众弟子有缘人赏析。
Osifu had a little leisure time this afternoon and wrote a
gatha, and now dedicate it to all the disciples and predestined friends for
appreciation personally.
此偈名为《度灵归》，写完这个偈子，师父突然发现最近忙于九华行、忙于弘法利生，很少写偈子了。呵呵！
The title of the gatha is guide
and instruct billions of living beings to return home. After the gatha is
written, Osifu suddenly felt that he has seldom written gathas recently because
of engaging in the pilgrimage trip to Mount Jiu Hua and trips to promote Dharma
to benefit the sentient beings.

普贤大行吾愿随。
三山五岳眼前飞，
业海茫茫度灵归。

Billions of the Spirits to Return Home

We will fly to Mount
Emei on July 23rd.
I am willing to follow
the example of the Bodhisattva Samantahadra’s great practice.
The Three Mountains and
the Five Sacred Mountains are emerging and flying before eyes.
Guide and instruct
billions of living beings returning home out of the vast karmic sea.
接下来 阴历七月二十三又要飞往峨眉山普贤菩萨道场，开始为期五天的 峨眉行。实乃马不停蹄呀！
Next, Osifu will fly to Mount EMei, the bodhimandala of the
Bodhisattva Samantahadra, on Lunar July 23rd for a five-day pilgrimage trip. It
is really a hurry journey without stop!
峨眉行结束后，十一黄金周期间还会安排 印度行，要去印度释迦牟尼佛的家乡朝拜释迦牟尼佛，踏着释迦牟尼佛的足迹前行。
After the trip to Mount Emei, a trip to India will be arranged
during the Oct. 1st Golden Week. We will go to India, hometown of Shakyamuni
Buddha to worship the Shakyamuni Buddha and move forward by following the
footprints of Shakyamuni Buddha.
我们要沿着诸佛菩萨的足迹前行，我们要行佛道、行菩萨道。
We have to follow the footsteps of the Buddhas and
Bodhisattvas going forward. We have to practice in manner of the Buddhas and
Bodhisattvas.
自利利他、自觉觉他、自度度他、自化化他，行菩萨道是我们生命的全部。
Self-benefit as well as benefit others, self-consciousness as
well as be aware of others, self- rescue as well as save others, self-relief as
well as relieve others， and
practice in manners of Bodhisattvas is the only significance for our existence.
师父小时候就很喜欢《封神榜》中的那段歌词：
Osifu liked very much in his childhood the lyrics in Canonization of the Gods：
“愿生命化做那朵莲花
“May life turns into the lotus flower
功名利禄全抛下
Fully throwing away the fame and fortune
让百世传颂神的逍遥
Let people praise and pass generations onto generation the
unfettered freedom of the Gods
我辈只需独占世间潇洒
My generation only needs to monopolize the chic and nuttiness
of the world.
愿生命化做那朵莲花
May life turns into the lotus flower
功名利禄全抛下
Fully throwing away the fame and fortune
让百世传颂神的逍遥
Let people praise and pass generations onto generation the
unfettered freedom of the Gods
我辈只需独占世间潇洒
My generation only needs to monopolize the chic and nuttiness
of the world.
告别无休的征战

用血泪换一个千古神话
With blood and tears for an eternal myth

An eternal myth, an eternal myth”
直到今天，师父仍然很喜欢那句话“愿生命化做那朵莲花 ”。
Till today, Osifu still very much likes the phrase “May life
turns into the lotus flower.”
“愿生命化做那朵莲花”像一个种子在师父的心里生根、发芽、开花、结果。
The phrase “May life turns into the lotus flower” has taken
root, germination, blossom, and fruiting in Osifu’s heart like a seed.
今天，今晚，此时，此刻师父也要把这个种子种到你们的心里，让这颗金刚道种在你们的心里生根、发芽、开花、结果。
At this moment, this time, tonight, today, Osifu also wants to
put this seed into your heart, let this diamond seed to take root, germination,
blossom and fruiting in your heart.
你本来就是一朵莲花。
You were originally a lotus flower.
你本来清净芬芳。
You were originally pure and full of fragrance.
你本来具足光明。
You were originally with infinite light.
你本来具足万能。
You were originally omnipotent.
你本来具足妙明。
You were originally with excellent wisdom.
你本来具足神通。
You were originally with supernatural powers.
你本来具足智慧。
You were originally with absolute wisdom.
你本来具足德相。
You were originally with all the virtuous characteristics.
你本来不生不灭。
You were originally neither dying nor being born.
你本来不垢不净。
You were originally neither impure nor pure.
你本来不增不减。
You were originally neither increasing nor decreasing
你本来能生万法。
You originally could create thousands of Dharma.
你本来自在无碍。
You were originally free from all obstacles.
你本来无系无缚。
You were originally free from all attachments.
你本来与佛无二。
You were originally same as a Buddha.
你本来天之骄子。
You were originally a favored child of the God.
你本来宙心灵光。
You were originally a beam of spiritual light from the Cosmic Source.
你本来佛心性光。
You were originally a beam of natural light from the Buddha
Mind.
你本来道心神光。
You were originally a beam of divine light from the Taoism
Mind.
你本来性海奇葩。
You were originally a masterpiece from the Nature Ocean.
妄想分别执著让你变成现今这副模样，现在你所执著的这个假我不是你的本来面目。
It is delusions, discriminations and persistence that have
made you become the one with such image, and the false self you are clinging to
now is not your original features.
妄想分别执著让你变成现今这副德性，现在你所执著的这个假我不是你的本来面目。
It is delusions, discriminations and persistence that have
made you become the one with such morality, and the false self you are clinging
to now is not your original features.
妄想分别执著让你变成现今这副窘态，现在你所执著的这个假我不是你的本来面目。
It is delusions, discriminations and persistence that have

妄想分别执著是一切问题的根源。
The delusions, discriminations and persistence are the root of
all problems.
息妄想、不分别、破执著是解决问题的药方，也是唯一的药方。
Removing the delusions, non-discrimination, and breaking
persistence is the prescription to solve all the problems, and the only one!
生命本来就是一朵圣洁的莲花，让她恢复光彩吧！
Life is essentially a holy lotus flower; let her restore her
glory!

Dear disciples! The journey is over, and it’s the high time

今生今世的生命只是旅程的一部分，踏上归程，去拥有、融入、圆融你本元的全部吧！
The life of this lifetime is just a part of the journey,
please step onto the way home to embrace, integrate and immerse yourself into
your entire origin!
是的，你本元是宇宙，全部的宇宙。
Yes, your origin is the Universe, the entire Universe.
是的，你本元是佛，全部的佛。
Yes, your origin is the Buddha, the Buddha himself.
是的，你本元是道，全部的道。
Yes, your origin is the Way, the Way itself.
是的，你本元是神，全部的神。
Yes, your origin is the God, the God himself.
是的，你本元是仙，全部的仙。
Yes, your origin is a Celestial Being, all the Celestial
Beings.
是的，你本元是圣，全部的圣。
Yes, your origin is a sage, all the sages.
是的，你本元是真，全部的真。
Yes, your origin is suchness, the entire suchness.
是的，你本元是一，全部的一。
Yes, your origin is oneness, the oneness itself.
是的，你本元是〇，全部的〇。
Yes, your origin is O, the entire O.
是的，一即一切，一切即一。
Yes, oneness is everything, and everything is oneness.
是的，〇即一切，一切即〇。
Yes, O is everything, and everything is O.
言已至此，无话可说。
