You Have to Rely on Yourself

师父随缘隔日开示，听师父讲法越来越难得，应作难得稀有想，应倍加珍惜此机缘。
Osifu discourses every other day according to situations, so it is
getting rare to hear Osifu giving teachings. We should think of the rarity and double
cherish the opportunity.
看到这么多弟子有缘人一大早就清净身语意，恭候在网络道场准备准时参加法会听师父开示。真好！
Seeing so many disciples and predestined friends up early to purify the
body, speech and mind waiting at the online bodhimandala to participate in
Osifu’s Dharma Assembly and be ready to listen to instructional teachings on
time. It is so good!
一分诚敬一分利益，十分诚敬十分利益。
One penny of sincerity you paid, one penny of benefits you get. Ten
pennies of sincerity you paid, ten pennies of benefits you get.
百分诚敬百分利益，千分诚敬千分利益。
A hundred pennies of sincerity you paid, a hundred pennies of benefits you
get.
A thousand pennies of sincerity you paid, a thousand pennies of benefits
you get.
心诚则灵！不可思议！
Sincerity makes the efficaciousness！It is incredible!
师父让你们看《仙缘》，其中的一个目的就是让你们懂得对道恭敬、对法恭敬、对师父恭敬、对佛菩萨恭敬、对护法神恭敬。
One of the purposes that Osifu suggested you read Association and Interaction with the Immortals is to let you
understand how to pay deference and homage to the Way, the Dharma, Osifu,
Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and to the Protective Deities.
只有恭敬诚净才会得到真实利益。
Only be respectful, sincere and purified will you get the real interests.
只有恭敬诚净才会得到真实受用。
Only be respectful, sincere and purified can you get the real benefits.
只有恭敬诚净才会得到真实法喜。
Only be respectful, sincere and purified can you get the real Dharma joy.
《仙缘》会给你们很多启示，师父今天依然要求大家静下心来认认真真深入地阅读，会对你们修心修行修炼有很大帮助的。
Association and
Interaction with the Immortals will give you a lot of
inspirations, and today Osifu still ask that each of you calm down and
seriously give it an in-depth reading, which will greatly help for your mind discipline,
cultivation and practice.
读了一遍，再读第二遍，最少读三遍。
Read it one time then the second time, and at least read it three times.
《仙缘》中 兴中子 无形的师父 很多开示很精彩、很深刻、很精准、很到位、很有力度。非常好！
In Association and Interaction with
the Immortals Xingzhongzi’s invisible master gave a lot of excellent, deep,
accurate, precise and forceful teachings, which is very good indeed!
但提示大家不要执着 兴中子无形师父的身份，是不是道家祖师太上老君并不重要。
However, Osifu suggests you should not cling to the identity of the
invisible master of Xingzhongzi. It is not important whether he is the founder
of Taoism Laotse or not.
依法不依人。悟其中的道即可。
Refer to the idea instead of the figure. It would be enough to reflect on
the truth that lies in it.
今天不做过多开示，师父是向导，但一步一步登上顶峰要靠你自己脚踏实地往上升！
Osifu will not talk too much today. Master is just a guide but you have
to rely on your own feet step by step to reach the summit.
〇曰：修行犹如登高巅，步步艰辛直向前。
Osifu says that cultivation is like climbing the mountain, you have to
keep forward step by step no matter how hard it is.
〇曰：修行犹如烈火炼，浴火重生现金莲。
Osifu says that cultivation is like refining in the fire, the golden
lotus will only appeared when you get reborn in the burning fire.
〇曰：修行犹如磨利剑，千锤百炼波若焰。
Osifu often says that cultivation is like grinding the sword, the
Namiwaka flickers only after severe training and hammering.
〇曰：修行犹如逆水船，不进则退力争先。
Osifu often says that cultivation is like sailing against the wind, you
will lag behind if not make progress.
〇曰：道心坚固、勇猛精进、觉而力行、直取正觉.
Osifu often says that you should firm your resolve for the Way, work hard
and diligently, put your perception into practice and target yourself directly to
the ultimate enlightenment.
今天就到这里吧！
