The Assembly of Bestowing Dharma Names
今日 二月初八 释迦牟尼佛出家日，是一个很有纪念意义的日子。
Today is February 8th in the lunar
calendar, the day of Buddha Sakyamuni becoming a monk, which is quite a memorable
day.
《学佛偈》
--师父
The verse of learning from the
Buddha
--〇sifu
在家出家，皆当思维。
Either being at home or becoming a monk,
we should think rightly.
在尘离尘，皆当思维。
Either staying in the defiled world or beyond it, we
should think rightly.
在世出世，皆当思维。
Either living in the mundane world or beyond it, we should
think rightly.
吾等发心，至心学佛。
We bring forth the resolve for learning from the
Buddha with the sincerest mind.
远学古佛，近学释迦。
Learn from the Buddhas in ancient times and Buddha
Sakyamuni in later time.
释迦佛迹，历历在目。
Buddha Sakyamuni's trace still remains clear and distinct in the mind.
释迦雷音，言犹在耳。
Buddha Sakyamuni's thunderous sayings still ring in the
ears.
释迦笑貌，色未曾退。
Buddha Sakyamuni's smiling expressions has never faded
away.
释迦明灯，光照寰宇。
Buddha Sakyamuni's brilliance lights up the whole
universe.
释迦法会，常住时空。
Buddha Sakyamuni's dharma assemblies constantly
remain in the time and space.
释迦妙法，如如不动。
Buddha Sakyamuni's wonderful dharma remains suchness
unmoving forever.
今日此时，师父礼赞。
Today at this moment, 〇sifu is praising and praying to
him.
赞叹释佛，功德无量！
Praise Buddha Sakyamuni for his
boundless merits and virtues!
礼敬释佛，常随佛学。
Pay homage and respect to Buddha
Sakyamuni as well as follow the teachings of all
Buddhas.

It's presented to disciples
and predestined friends to comprehend, written on 08:10:48 Mar. 3rd, 2010.
家中有佛堂的拟拜师有缘人，可以上香，供佛、敬佛、礼佛，念佛了。
The predestined friends who plan to formally acknowledge 〇sifu as the master, if there are cultivation places at home,
you can offer incense, give offerings to Buddha, pay
homage to Buddha, worship Buddha and chant the name of Buddha now.
以至诚之心感得佛菩萨认定，赐法号。
To invoke the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with the
sincerest heart to identify and approve as well as bestow dharma names upon
you.
师父也要回家，上香，供佛、敬佛、礼佛，念佛。
〇sifu has to go home to offer
incense, give offerings to Buddha, pay homage to Buddha,
worship Buddha and chant the name of Buddha, too.
恭请 佛菩萨护法神众临场加持、护持。
Respectfully invite all Buddhas, Bodhisattvas and
Guardian divinities to bless and protect us here.
拟拜师有缘人，请再审慎问心。
The predestined friends who plan to formally acknowledge 〇sifu as the master, prudently ask your mind again, please.
末法时期也是魔法时期，邪师太多。拜师不可不慎
末法时期也是魔法时期，邪师太多。赐法号不可不慎！
请一定要慎之又慎！

Give you another ten minutes to think.
The predestined friends who plan to formally acknowledge 〇sifu as the master, please write down your names, birthdays
and addresses and handing them to 〇sifu
by private chatting. 〇sifu
requests the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to make the final determination.
今天，拜师赐法号法会，可能有的有缘人拜师机缘一到，但赐法号机缘要在等一等，大家要理解。
Today, it may be some predestined friends' chances
of acknowledging 〇sifu as the master in
this assembly. However, chance of being bestowed with dharma names has to be
delayed. Hope you understand that.
师父 传皈戒时，拜师者回答，其他弟子就不要回答了。见证即可。
When 〇sifu
imparts the precepts of conversion, those who will acknowledge 〇sifu as their master answer the questions.
The other disciples don't need to answer but just witness it.
Those predestined friends who have the resolve to formally acknowledge 〇sifu as their master, if there are cultivation places at
home, you may offer incense to the Buddha, and worship to the Buddha nine
times. If there isn't a cultivation place at home, it doesn't matter. Offer
three incenses in mind and keep the mind responding to the Buddha. Then purify your
body, speech and mind. It will be fine to sit in front of the computer
synchronously and answer the precepts of conversion.
值此公元二0一0年3月23日、农历二月初八，释迦牟尼佛出家日，舟子于 净心精舍 圆满阁 举行 拜师赐法号法会。
On the occasion of Mar.23th, 2010, February
8th of the lunar calendar, which is the commemoration day of Buddha Sakyamuni becoming a
monk, 〇sifu is holding the assembly to formally
acknowledge 〇sifu as the master and bestow dharma names in the Satisfactory Loft in Mind Purification
Vihara.
诸佛菩萨临场加持、诸护法神众临场护持、至清净妙众弟子有缘人见证。
All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are coming here to give
blessings. All Guardian divinities are coming here to protect us. All disciples
and predestined friends are witnessing it.
师父 再问一遍，道心坚固否？
〇sifu asks you again: Is your
resolve for Bodhi firm?
既入我佛门，当真信切愿、道心坚固、永不退转、勇猛精进、直取正觉。
Now that you convert to the Buddha, you should have
true faith and sincere vows, firm your resolve, never fall back, cultivate
courageously and diligently and directly attain the proper enlightenment.
师父 再问一遍，愿以至诚之心拜师父为师否？
〇sifu asks you again: Would
you like to acknowledge 〇sifu
as your master with the sincerest mind?
既愿拜师父为师，当尊师重道、依教奉行。修正法大道，远离小法小术、邪法外道。
Now that you would like to acknowledge 〇sifu as your master, you should respect the master and venerate the Way
as well as practice according to his teachings. Cultivate the Great Way of
Proper Dharma and keep far away from magic arts, heretic sects as well as externalists’
practices.
师父 再问一遍，愿意发菩提心、六度万行、行菩萨道否？
〇sifu asks you again: Would
you like to bring forth the resolve for Bodhi, actualize the six perfections in
myriad actions as well as practice in the manner of Bodhisattvas?
既有金刚道心，尔等将来救人无数、度人无数。
Now that you have the Vajra resolve, you'll save and
rescue immeasurable people in future.
今天，诸佛如来，天地神祇、六道九有，与你作证。
Today, all Buddhas, Tathagatas, divinities of heaven
and earth, nine abodes of six realms are witnessing it for you.
今赐尔等法号，尔等 谛听！
······
Now bestow dharma names upon you. You all listen carefully!
······
其余有缘人今已拜师，佛缘很深，但赐法号时机不到，继续精进，敬候佳音吧。
The other predestined friends who have deep affinity
with the Buddha, you have acknowledged 〇sifu as your master but the time of bestowing dharma names hasn't come
yet. Go on cultivating diligently and waiting for the good news respectively.
现在，尔等身边佛菩萨很多，在加持尔等。
Now, there are many Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
blessing around you.
现在，尔等身边护法神很多，在护持尔等。
Now, there are many Guardian divinities protecting
around you.
此时，要多念佛。
殊胜感应不可思议。
At this moment, you should chant more names of the
Buddha.
The excellent responds are inconceivable.
参加此法会的弟子有缘人都会有殊胜加持、殊胜感应的。
All disciples and predestined friends attending to
this assembly can get excellent and special blessings and responds.
以后 三界内外 皆知 尔等法号。尔等也将以这一法号，广结善缘、弘化有缘 ，救人度人。
From now on, your dharma names are well known inside
and outside the Triple Realms. You should serve to widely create good karma,
greatly transform sentient beings, save and rescue people with your dharma
names.
尔等会见证不可思议的！把昵称改为法号吧。
You all will witness the inconceivability! Change
your nicknames into dharma names.
尔等当：抓住当下勇猛精进！
You all should make full use of NOW to cultivate
courageously and diligently！
尔等当：
净心无我直向前，
早日成道度有缘！
You all should straightly go ahead with pure mind
and non-self; attain enlightenment as soon as possible to rescue all
predestined beings!
尔等要和至清净妙众师兄，一体同心、齐心协力、共同精进、共同提升。
You all should unify into one body sharing one mind,
make concerted efforts, cultivate diligently and ascend to the higher
dimensions together with all fellow cultivators named after Zhi,Qing,Jing,Miao.
拜师赐法号仪式圆满结束！
The assembly
of formally acknowledging 〇sifu
as the master and bestow
dharma names came to a end perfectly!
功德无量！普天同喜！普天同庆！
The merits and virtues are boundless! The whole
universe joins in for congratulation! The whole world joins in jubilation!
现在，至清净妙众弟子有缘人，同念回向文，三遍。
Now, all disciples and predestined friends read the
dedication text three times synchronously.
十五还有一次机缘的
There will be another chance on the 15th
of the lunar calendar.
2010-3-23中午师父开示：赞叹弟子、与佛相应
看到众弟子一个个正在脱胎换骨，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is thoroughly remolding
yourself is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在破壳而出，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is breaking out of
the shell is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在振翅欲飞，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is fluttering
wings to fly is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在如虎添翼，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples' power is increasing
like a tiger with wings is really so nice and
wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在返本还原，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is returning to
the origin is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在慧剑力斩，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is cutting off bondages
with the sword of wisdom is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在化龙翔天，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is soaring into
the Heaven as the dragon is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在威神抖擞，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is full of
dignified spirit is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在威仪日显，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples' awesome
deportment is being manifested day after day is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在慈悲渐露，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples' compassion is
revealed gradually is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在能量渐增，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples' energy is
increasing gradually is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在智慧日生，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples' wisdom is arising
day after day is really so nice and wonderful!
看到众弟子一个个正在出尘归心，真好真妙！
Seeing that each of all disciples is getting rid of the
mundane world and returning to the mind is really so nice and wonderful!
二月，佛菩萨的纪念日特别多，师父会根据机缘在 圆满阁举行 拜师赐法号法会。
There are many memorial days of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas
in February. 〇sifu will hold assembly
to formally acknowledge 〇sifu
as the master and bestow
dharma names in Satisfactory Loft
according to circumstances.
今天，未赐法号的有缘人，不要有想法，你们都很有缘，师父已经接收你们为弟子。
Today, the predestined friends without dharma names
don't think differently. You all have affinities with 〇sifu, and 〇sifu has accepted you as disciples.
一切皆有机缘，拜师也好，赐法号也好，每人都有自己的机缘。
相互之间称呼法号或“师兄”皆可，不要随便称呼其他的名字。
Everything has its karma. Everyone also has his/her
own karma of acknowledging 〇sifu
as the master or being bestowed upon dharma names. You can call each other by dharma
name or "fellow cultivator". Don't call other names carelessly.
虚云 若知自己有个粉丝，不知做何感想。
What would Master Xu Yun think if he knew that he had an admirer?
弟子 明心见性多好呀
Dear disciple, realizing the true mind and Buddha- nature is so
nice!
虚云 是否明心见性或者需要他的师父印证。
It probably needs his master to confirm whether Master Xu Yun realized the true mind and Buddha-
nature or not.
佛也可以给虚云印心。
The Buddha can also verify it for Master Xu Yun.
但虚云自己和粉丝团没法给虚云印心。
But it cannot be done by Master Xu Yun himself and the group of admirers.
不如给释迦佛当粉丝。
It would be better to be admirer of the Buddha
Sakyamuni.
释迦佛若有粉丝团，师父愿意搞搞服务。
If Buddha Sakyamuni has a group of admirers,
〇sifu will be willing to serve the group.
与佛相应呀
Be responding to the Buddha.
弟子 你相应到哪里去了？
Dear disciple, where are you responding to?
离了船你或者能过河，离了佛你真的不能解脱。
Maybe you can cross the river without the boat. But
you really can't gain release from the cycle of death and birth without the
Buddha.
不见真佛不磕头，呵呵！
Well, you don't kowtow until you see the real
Buddha.
我们都是平等的，给真佛磕头吧。
We are all equal. Kowtow to the real Buddha.
师父不提倡你们顶礼为师。多礼佛！
〇sifu doesn't advocate
that you bow in worship before 〇sifu. Bow
in worship before the Buddhas
more often!
平等嘛
Be equal!
随心嘛
Follow the mind!
随缘嘛
Perform according to circumstances!
释迦佛 是师父的榜样！
Buddha Sakyamuni is 〇sifu's example!
自然流露真好！
Revealing naturally is really nice!
佛性自宣流真妙！
The Buddha-nature is expressing and revealing
naturally, which is so wonderful!
与佛相应 顺其自然。
Keep responding to the Buddha and allow the nature
to take its course.
呵呵，与佛相应 不可思议。
Well, responding to the Buddha is inconceivable.
尝到甜头了，对这个甜头也不可执着呀。
Even if you have tasted the sweetness, don't cling
to it as well.
一切密码钥匙在你心里。
All codes and keys are in your mind.
至清净妙众弟子晚安
地球母亲晚安
All disciples and predestined friends, good night!
Mother Earth, good
