Teachings given by Osifu in Mar.14 2010 morning:
我们的时间太宝贵。
Our time is too precious.
地球会在 佛菩萨及高层次生灵的帮助下，长期发展下去。
With the help of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as well as the
high-dimensional creatures, the Earth will keep its long-term development.
近万年内甚至更久不会出现地球末日或世界末日问题。
Problems such as end of the Earth or end of the world won’t
happen in the near ten thousand years or even longer.
众弟子有缘人不要“杞人忧天”更不用听信有些别有用心的人蛊惑人心。
All the disciples and predestined friends please don’t meet
the trouble half-way; moreover, don’t believe those who have ulterior motives
to confuse the public.
宇宙、自然、人体，都会有一个“调整问题”，调整是根据宇宙规律需要而调整，不是随意的，也不是某佛某神某仙的个人意志决定的。
真修行人不可迷信！
There will be an ‘adjustment issue’ to the Universe, the
nature and the human body, which is to be adjusted according to the needs of
the cosmic law rather than an adjustment at random, nor is the individual will
of some Buddha, some god or some celestial being.
A true cultivator should not be superstitious.
地球确实有不平衡问题，也会有一个调整问题。
都会顺应宇宙规律、自然法则而调整。
The Earth does have problems of imbalances and there will be
an issue of adjustment, which will comply with the cosmic law and the
principles of nature.
众弟子不用过虑，更不要受人蛊惑而恐慌！
So all the disciples no need to worry too much or fell panic
because of confusions brought about by some people!
别有用心的人散布灾劫问题，我等勿信勿传，净心修炼，观照自心。
People with ulterior motives spread problems about the
devastating disasters, which we should not believe or pass to others but
quietly do our practice and inner reflection.
即使真有灾难出现，要相信党和政府、相信人类可以自救。
Even if the disasters appear, we should believe that our Party,
our government and our human beings can save themselves.
需要我等奉献爱心，我等亦可顺天而行，尽心尽力。
If they need our dedication and love, we can also try our best
to do what we could.
地球的未来，会更加美好！
The future of the Earth will be better!
地球的未来，会更加美妙！
The future of the Earth will be more wonderful!
地球的未来，会更加清净！
The future of the Earth will be cleaner and purer!
地球的未来，会更加净化！
The future of the Earth will be more purified!
地球的未来，会更加升华！
The future of the Earth will be more sublime!
地球的未来，会更加美满！
The future of the Earth will be more beautiful and full of
happiness!
地球的未来，会更加平衡！
The future of the Earth will be more balanced!

此前的调整无需过虑。
All of you don’t need to worry too much about the adjustment
before that.
有佛菩萨和高层次生灵帮助的，一切无碍！
Everything will be all right with the help of the Buddhas and the
high-level creatures!
一步一步来
One step at a time!
一点一点透过
需要一个过程
Time is needed to get through it little by little!
有弟子:师父，你的孩子若玩皮，还着惹你不高兴 的时侯，师父你生气吗？
Some disciple: Master, if your child is very naughty and makes
you unhappy, will you be angry?
师父:为什么要生气？
Osifu: why I would be angry?
师父小时候也有顽皮的时候。
Osifu was also naughty in his childhood.
赤子之心，看到了，反而应该高兴。看到了自己的童年和过去的影子。
I should be pleased seeing the innocent heart of a child for
that makes me seeing the childhood of myself and the shadow of the past.
师父的父亲，老实忠厚，不善言辞。极少骂人打人，和亲戚邻里处得都非常好。
Osifu’s father was an honest man, who is not talkative, and he
rarely cursed or beat his children; also he always got along well with
relatives and the neighborhood.
师父没有出家，有缘人。
师父随缘示现，顺应机缘、顺应天意。
Osifu did not leave home to become a monk, my predestined
friends. Osifu manifests according to situations and complying with the
circumstances and the God’s will.
感谢佛菩萨，感谢上苍对师父的厚爱。
Thank the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as well as the
unconditional love that the God has granted to Osifu.
师父虽说一路艰辛，但依然走的自在逍遥。
Though it has been always hard, Osifu has still led a free and
unfettered life.
师父只能说，师父要像上苍、佛菩萨爱师父一样，去爱苍生万灵！
Osifu can only say that he will love the sentient beings as
what he has received from the God, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
基督教、天主教也讲爱，但没有把爱献到极至，有我的爱不究竟。
The Christianity and the Catholicism also talk about love but
they didn’t offer their love to the utmost, and love with ego is not the
absolute love.
道教也讲爱，但没有把爱献到极至，有我阴阳之爱不究竟。
The Taoism also talks about love, but it didn’t offer its love
to the utmost, and love with ego or Yin and Yang is not the absolute love.
佛教似乎没讲爱，但把爱献到极至，无我慈悲归究竟。
It seems that the Buddhism doesn’t talk about love but it
offers its love to the utmost, and mercy with non-self is the absolute love.
即使 佛法点破的“爱欲”“情爱”“贪爱”--生死本。我们也要智慧的观照。
Even though that the Buddha Dharma pointed out that ‘lust’ ‘sexual
love’ and ‘craving’ are causes for the life and death, we have to contemplate
ourselves with wisdom.
佛子啊，不一定所有的东西都要下个结论。
Dear Buddhist disciples! It is not necessary to make
conclusion to all things.
这是人类思维的毛病，总试图：概念、判断、推理，一切事物。可惜，逻辑是人脑、意识、思维的产物。
This is the problems of human minds, and they always attempt
to conceptualize, judge and reason everything but unfortunately the logic is
the product of human brain, consciousness and thinking.
佛法、禅，是超逻辑的。只能心印，不能言传、不能表述、不能外显。
However, the Buddhism and Zen are beyond logic, which can only
be understood by one’s heart but cannot be explained in words, cannot be
expressed or described.
当你试图说出禅的时候，问题就出现了。
When you try to explain Zen, the problem will emerge.
释迦佛，昔日灵山“拈花一笑”，很经典。
The Buddha Sakyamuni, whose ‘smiling while holding the flower’
once at the Vulture Peak was very classic.
但，禅和笑与不笑，都没有关系。
However, it has nothing to do between Zen and laughing or not.
所以，禅 是 超逻辑。
Therefore, Zen is beyond logic.
你听了，有些 云里雾里。
Upon hearing this you may feel confused.
有缘人，师父若说，你谢慧莲就是谢自己，你能悟吗？
Dear predestined friends, if Osifu says that you thank Olive
is to thank yourself, will you understand that?
有缘人，师父若说：你就是慧莲，你能悟吗？
Dear predestined friends, if Osifu says that you are Olive
herself, will you understand that?
有缘人，师父若说：你就是佛，你能悟吗？
Dear predestined friends, if Osifu says that you are the
Buddha himself, will you understand that?
有缘人，师父若说：你就是弥勒佛，你能悟吗？
Dear predestined friends, if Osifu says that you are the
Buddha Maitreya, will you understand that?
有缘人:不能悟了这次，有点害怕了，要打住自己了好像
The predestined friend: Don’t understand this time, a little
bit frightened, it’s somewhat like that I should stop thinking here.
师父:呵呵
没办法了，只好教你们：断恶、修善、净心、念佛。这大众就好接受了。
Osifu: well. There is no other choice but to teach you: cut
off doing evil deeds, cultivate doing good deeds, purify your mind and Chant
title of the Buddha, which is easy to accept by the public.
有弟子:师父，你现在就是佛吗？
Some disciple: Master, are you a Buddha now?
师父:谢谢佛子，时时都能关心为师。
Osifu: Thank you, dear Buddhist Disciple! You always care for Osifu.
有人问师父，这个 什么意思？
Somebody asked Osifu that what this mean?
师父说，意义很多：1.胜利。2.必胜.3.不二。4.阴阳平衡。5.天线....呵呵
太多了，很好玩儿。
Osifu said that it has many meanings: First, it may mean
victory; second, it may mean to win; third it may mean the oneness; forth, it
may mean Yin and Yang balance; and the fifth, it may mean the antenna…ahah
There are too many meanings, and lots of fun.
佛法 生动活泼。
但佛子也要有威仪。
时时 清净身口意
The Buddha Dharma is vivid and lively but the Buddhist disciples
must carry with dignity and purify your body, speeches and your mind.

集
灭
道
Sufferings
Accumulating

The Way
昔日，释迦佛说“四圣谛”法，很多人听闻即能证阿罗汉果，解脱生死。
如是
In the past when the Buddha Sakyamuni expounded the Four Noble
Truths, a lot of people attained the Arahat fruition and released from the life
and death prison when hearing that.
It was the case.
有些 佛法 基础知识，你们还是要看一看。
Some basic Buddhism knowledge, you have to learn by yourself.
你们身在娑婆，处于五浊恶世，受尽种种磨难，常受八苦所恼。为师心痛都来不及，怎会生你们的气？
You are in the defiled Saha land suffering from all kinds of
hardships and difficulties, and often subject to the eight sufferings. How can Osifu
be angry with you since he has felt painful for all that you’ve suffered?
苦从何来？
Where are the sufferings coming from?
释迦佛用了一个“集”谛，来宣法。
The Buddha Sakyamuni used the Noble Truth of “Accumulating” to
expound the Dharma.
苦由“集”来。
Sufferings are brought about by the “Accumulating”.
业感召集，而有诸苦。
The karma calls for the “Accumulating”, as a result, the sufferings
take place.
如何灭苦，灭生死轮回，究竟解脱呢？
此乃“灭谛”。
Then how to extinct the sufferings, extinct the birth and
death incarnation and attain ultimate enlightenment? And which is in the range
of the Noble Truth of Extinction.
最后，释迦佛指出了一条光明之路，解脱之路--唯有修道。
此乃“道谛”。
修道，而解脱。
At last, the Buddha Sakyamuni pointed out a bright way, the
way for liberation is to cultivate and practice the Way. And which is in the
range of the Noble Truth of the Way.
Only cultivate and practice can help one attain liberation
from the birth and death prison.
刚有弟子问，“师父 为何 把这几个字分开打出来呢 有什么禅机？”
Some disciple has just asked “why Osifu typed the four words separately
in vertical order, and is there anything related to Zen?
为什么，师父刚才要，一个字一个字打出来呢？
呵呵
Well, why Osifu typed these words separately in vertical
order?
因为，有的人看了一个字就会觉悟证果。
It is because some people will be enlightened to attain fruition
after reading one of the words.
因为，有的人看了两个字就会觉悟证果。
It is because some people will be enlightened to attain fruition
after reading two of the words.
因为，有的人看了三个字就会觉悟证果。
It is because some people will be enlightened to attain fruition
after reading three of the words.
也很可惜，有的人，听释迦佛讲很多遍“四圣谛”法，都不能证果开悟。
But unfortunately, some people cannot attain the fruition of
enlightenment after hearing the Buddha Sakyamuni preaching many times of the
Four Noble Truths.
释迦佛住世与否，很重要吗？
Is it important whether the Buddha Sakyamuni remains in the
world or not?
释迦佛，从来都没有离开过我们。
The Buddha Sakyamuni has never left us.
不过师父 讲法 ，是当机开示。
As for giving teachings, Osifu merely preaches Dharma
according to situations.
佛法，无处不在。
The Buddha Dharma lies in everywhere and everything.
有弟子:师父，弟子也很疑惑，为何佛祖在世时，证果似乎很容易啊？
Some disciple: Master, I am very confused that the fruition
attaining seemed very easy when the Buddha was alive?
师父:佛子 问的好！
这正是，我们要深刻自省的问题。
问题在哪里呢？
Osifu: Good question! Dear disciple! This is why we have to
introspect profoundly. Where does the problem lie in?
有弟子:近水楼台的问题吧 据说 佛陀的弟子观想白骨观自杀了 佛陀都能助他们在中阴成就 佛陀慈悲啊
Some disciple: it is somewhat like a favorable position making
things easier. It is said that the Buddha’s disciples contemplating the bones
and committed suicide, and the Buddha could help them to attain fruition in their
bardo. How compassionate the Lord Buddha was!
师父:这个 佛子，把板子打到老佛爷屁股上了，果然后生可畏。
佛子，似乎报怨佛菩萨现在离众生远喽。
Osifu: this Buddhist disciple kicked the Buddha’s ass, as
expected indeed that the younger generation will surpass the older. You seemed
complaining that the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are staying far away from the
living beings.
皆堪作佛，无需自贬。
Everyone can become a Buddha and no necessary to be
self-deprecating.
问题 在自己身上、在自己心中。
Problems lie in yourself and in your own mind.
不要，怨天尤人。
Don’t complain.
信阳有一句俗语“生意不好怨柜台子”。
As a saying goes in ShinYoung, people complain about the
counter when business is not good.
很多修行人呀，“修为不好怨助缘”。
There are many practitioners who blame for their opportunities
when they don’t make achievements in their cultivation.
说到究竟处，为何当今“学佛者多，成就者少”，修行人心 出了问题。
Talking about the ultimate achievements, why nowadays there
are a lots of Buddhism practitioners with few achievers, which is because
something wrong with the practitioners themselves.
信、愿、行，说到做不到。
One cannot put their belief, resolve and action into practice.
戒、定、慧，说到做不到。
One cannot put their precepts, concentration and wisdom into
practice.
苦、空、无常、无我，说到做不到。
One cannot put the suffering, emptiness, impermanence and
non-self into practice.
真修行人少呀
There are few real practitioners.
梦中考验，也要透过。
One has to get through the tests in dreams.
宣化上人，挺好的，倡导楞严咒。
The venerable Master Hsuanhua was so good, and he advocated
the Shurangama Mantra.
佛子，师父会一点一滴讲的，你注意每天看看圆满阁群聊天记录。
Dear Buddhist disciple! Master will tell everything little by
little, and you have to pay attention to read the chating records of the
Satisfactory Loft every day.
饮食：素食清淡 八成饱。
睡眠不可太久，6~7小时足够。
师父一日三餐。
As for the diet, Osifu suggests vegetarian food and eighty
percent full. The sleeping time should not be too long and six or seven hours
of sleeping are enough. And Osifu has three meals a day.
师父，工作、生活、讲法，事很忙，但还是每天精进，持之以恒。
师父是最普通的人。
Osifu has been busy with his work, life and preaching Dharma
but he still practice diligently with perseverance. Osifu is the most common
person.
《平常行》
--师父
穿衣吃饭平常事，
救人度人平常人。
净心无我平常心，
正本清源平常行。

Ordinary Practices
--By Osifu
Eating and dressing, he does such ordinary things.
Saving and rescuing people, but he is still an ordinary
person.
Purifying heart without self, he keeps an ordinary mind.
Correcting deviations and restoring to the origin, but he
regards which as ordinary practices.

佛子，穿衣服也是平常事。
随时令气温增减即可。
Dear Buddhist disciples! Dressing is also a common matter, and
it’ll be all right to wear more or less clothes in accordance with the
temperature.
至清净妙众弟子有缘人晚安
地球母亲晚安
Good night to all the disciples named after Zhi, Qing, Jing and
Miao, and to all the predestined friends.
Good night to Mother Earth!
